The SFET Education Centre's Marlin Tank will be returning in 2026. This is our ideas + innovation incubator for the Meridan State College community. Our Marlins are less savage than the shoal of entrepreneurs on Shark Tank but their quest for amazing ideas remains the same. Previous ideas funded through the tank include the construction of a life-size catapult, habitat gardens, worm towers and a life-size catapult.

Our SFET Education Centre has launched the SCAIIL Network. Educators from across the Sunshine Coast and beyond have attended PD and networking sessions as part of this new network.
